A Kisco Avenue car dealership reported a possible fraud attempt to county police on Wednesday, Jan. 24, when an employee told officers that a man seeking to finance and purchase a car provided a Connecticut’s driver’s license, but abruptly left the dealership when he learned that a credit check was being conducted.
Police interviewed the employee and are reviewing evidence regarding the potential alleged forgery. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, police said.
